This is an exceptional opportunity to step into a senior leadership role within a sponsor-backed fintech business that is scaling rapidly and redefining the future of the transportation sector.

As Head of Commercial, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's financial and operational direction, working closely with both the Executive Leadership Team and the Board, while championing a customer-centric culture and supporting sustainable mobility initiatives.

In this role, you'll blend strategic vision with hands-on execution, leading commercial negotiations, driving margin enhancement initiatives, and optimising operational frameworks across a global platform.

The Role: Strategic and Hands-On Leadership

As Head of Commercial, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading tender management and negotiations with key suppliers
  • Owning supplier agreements to ensure alignment with operational and financial goals
  • Driving commercial optimisation through margin analysis and continuous improvement
  • Overseeing property negotiations, ROI analysis, and development initiatives
  • Shaping business planning through budget modelling and monthly trading updates
  • Delivering insightful P&L reviews and net revenue models to guide executive decision-making
  • Championing process improvements across logistics and operations
  • Leading business improvement initiatives
  • Modelling and managing residual risk across strategic partnerships
  • Evaluating and launching new program initiatives that align with business objectives.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to bring commercial rigour to new ventures and strategic projects.

What You Bring

We're seeking a commercially astute leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments. You're both a strategist and an operator, bringing financial discipline and a hands-on approach to commercial execution.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years' experience in a senior commercial or operational leadership role
  • Strong financial acumen with proven ability to model, interpret, and present complex data
  • Highly analytical, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making
  • Exceptional negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • A passion for continuous improvement and innovation
  • Background in automotive, mobility, logistics, or manufacturing sectors (preferred).
