About You:

You are a mature minded individual who understands the importance of quality care with dignity and respect. You're calm, self-motivated, flexible and bring a positive energy to your work.

About the Role:

You'll be working one-on-one with me – a person with a physical disability – supporting me both at home and in the community.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Personal Care (including catheter care and bowel care) showering, dressing and

grooming

  • Evening and Bedtime Routine- support with bedroom set-up and night-time routine
  • Meal preparation and assistance with feeding and eating
  • Light household tasks
  • Manual handling - using wheelchair, hoist and lifter
  • Assistance with home exercise routine.
  • Skin care and simple wound care
  • Medication Management
  • Community Access

Shifts currently on offer include but are not limited to:

  • Monday to Sunday

What You'll Need:

The right to live and work in Australia

A current or willing-to-obtain National Police Check

Strong verbal communication skills and attention to detail

Driver's license and Own Vehicle

Manual Handling experience

Local to area- drive travel time 30 minutes or less (desirable)

Experience preferred but not essential as full training will be provided
