Proposal Advisor - maternity leave cover
Arcadis is the world's leading company delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets. We are more than 36,000 people, in over 70 countries, dedicated to improving quality of life. Everyone has an important role to play. With the power of many curious minds, together we can solve the world's most complex challenges and deliver more impact together.

Arcadis is seeking a
Proposal Advisor
to join our national Pursuit & Proposal Team. We're looking for someone with experience within the professional services or B2B space – who is confident managing the end-to-end proposal process and crafting high-quality, client-focused submissions.

About The Role
As a Proposal Advisor, you'll work closely with pursuit leads, technical experts and other team members to deliver compelling proposals that help us win work. Your role will be central to managing timelines, facilitating meetings and ensuring each submission is tailored, polished and strategically aligned. In addition to managing end-to-end submissions, you'll play a role in supporting early-stage pursuit activities – helping position Arcadis strategically ahead of tender release through client research, pursuit planning and win strategy sessions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the full proposal process, from kick-off through to submission
  • Coordinating meetings and key milestones to keep proposals on track
  • Supporting win strategy sessions and helping develop key messaging
  • Writing and editing non-technical content to align with client needs
  • Ensuring compliance with internal approvals and submission requirements
  • Contributing to and maintaining a library of proposal resources and templates
  • Supporting early-stage positioning and pursuit activities, including assisting with capture planning, win strategy workshops and client-focused content development.

What You'll Bring
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

  • 5-7 years of experience in proposals and bids
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with a focus on clarity and persuasiveness
  • Experience managing multiple deadlines and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word
  • Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset
  • Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills

Why Arcadis?
We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best. We believe everyone's contribution matters. It's why we are pioneering a skill-based approach, where you can hardness your unique experience and expertise to carve your career path and maximize the impact we can make together.

You'll do meaningful work, and no matter what role, you'll be helping to deliver sustainable solutions for a more prosperous planet. Make your mark, on your career, your colleagues, your clients, your life and the world around you.

Together, we can create a lasting legacy.

Join Arcadis. Create a Legacy.
