Melbourne, Victoria, Australia ERGT Australia Full time $80,000 - $120,000 per year

ERGT Australia is seeking passionate and suitably experienced current or former Mariners and Royal Australian Navy personnel to join our Altona Training Team on a full-time basis.

This role focuses on delivering AMSA-accredited training, including:

  • Certificate of Safety Training (CoST) – approx. once per month (7 consecutive days)
  • Refresher CoST courses – approx. 3 times per month
  • Around 15 days per month of AMSA training delivery

When not delivering AMSA training, you'll also contribute to ERGT's broader portfolio, including:

  • OPITO-approved safety courses for offshore workers
  • Boarding a Vessel at Sea
  • Survival Capsule Commander

Essential Qualifications

To meet Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) requirements, you must hold at least one of the following:

  • STCW Reg II/1 or III/1 Certificate of Competency
  • Engineer Class 3 Near Coastal + AMSA Certificate of Safety Training
  • Master

  • Dhc8 Captain/training
