Background and Experience:

  • Procurement Expertise:
    Comprehensive knowledge of procurement lifecycles with hands on experience in structuring government contracting suites, including ASDEFCON frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Defence Communications Systems:
    HIGHLY DESIRABLE
  • Commercial Acumen:
    Skilled in interpreting complex contractual structures and crafting pragmatic, high-impact procurement strategies.
  • Tendering Proficiency:
    Adept at preparing RFTs, conducting source evaluations, and leveraging procurement tools such as MyProcurements and MyFi for efficient workflow management.
  • Analytical Thinking:
    Strong ability to evaluate commercial risks, devise mitigation strategies, and uphold defensible evaluation processes.
  • Defence/Public Sector Procurement Policy Knowledge:
    Well-versed in public sector procurement operations and Defence commercial policy guidelines.
  • Large-Scale Procurement Experience:
    Familiar with Section 23 delegations and skilled in managing high-value commercial procurements and tender evaluations.
