About the role
Towform Trailers Pty Ltd is seeking a Mechanic to join our team in Dubbo, NSW. As a full-time Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our client's trailers, ensuring they are in safe and optimal working condition. Repair breakdowns on caravans and trailer, service company fleet vehicles.
What you'll be doing
- Perform routine maintenance and servicing on trailers, including inspections, adjustments, and replacements of parts
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, electrical faults, and other problems
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used
- Liaise with customers to understand their concerns and provide technical advice
- Assist with the installation of new trailer equipment and accessories
- Ensure the workshop is kept clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations
What we're looking for
- Relevant trade qualification in Automotive Mechanics or a similar field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mechanic, preferably in the trailer or automotive industry
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Good customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information effectively
- Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and the ability to work safely in a workshop environment
