Mechanic Wanted – Parkes Retail

Lead Our Workshop at Telescope Tyres Parkes

We're seeking a fully qualified and licensed mechanic for our Parkes retail workshop. This leadership role is ideal for someone ready to oversee daily operations, mentor staff, and uphold our commitment to exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily workshop operations, ensuring efficiency and high-quality service.

Perform mechanical repairs and servicing on a variety of vehicles, from light to heavy-duty.

Conduct vehicle inspections for registration purposes, ensuring compliance with NSW standards.

Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, fostering trust and repeat business.

Mentor and train workshop staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements:

Motor Vehicle Tradesperson Certificate in the relevant class (e.g., motor mechanic) as mandated by NSW Fair Trading.

Current and valid NSW Driver's Licence.

Authorised Examiner accreditation under the Authorised Inspection Scheme (AIS) for conducting vehicle safety checks.

Proven experience in mechanical diagnostics and repairs across various vehicle types.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.

Excellent communication skills, both with customers and team members.
