ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-driven ICT Senior Network Administrator to join our ICT team in supporting and maintaining a broad, multi-site ICT environment.

With the option to be based in Wodonga or Wangaratta, you will play a key role in the management and enhancement of our network and server infrastructure, disaster recovery and backup systems, cybersecurity platforms, and service desk operations.

In this role, you will:

• Provide high-level network management, documentation, and support.
• Assist with development and collaborate in the management of the Disaster Recovery Backup Process, and ensure they are operational, tested and compliant.
• Lead and significantly contribute to the design, planning, and implementation of new network infrastructure, upgrades, and migrations.
• Proactively monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimise.
• Implement and maintain network security policies, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), VPNs, and other security appliances.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers.

You'll be working across multiple locations including Wangaratta, Wodonga, Shepparton, and Myrtleford, contributing to essential services in a fast-paced and supportive environment.

ABOUT YOU

You are a solutions-focused professional with strong technical expertise, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage complex systems with minimal supervision.

You will bring:

• Experience in Network Design, Planning and Project Management.

• Experience with SOPHOS XG Firewall hardware, Cisco Switches and Meraki, or the ability to obtain skills in a timely manner.

• Advanced Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving Skills.

• A current driver's licence and the ability to travel between locations as required

REMUNERATION

Victorian Stand Alone Community Health Services (Health and Allied Services, Managers & Administrative Officers) Multiple Enterprise Agreement

Classification Grade 3 - $42.83 plus Superannuation
