About the Role:

As an Exercise Physiologist at our new Beerwah clinic, you will have the opportunity to work in a modern facility equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. Whether you prefer to work part-time or full-time, we offer flexible scheduling options to accommodate your lifestyle. We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate individual who is committed to providing evidence-based exercise interventions and making a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing personalised exercise programs for clients with a wide range of health concerns and conditions, including musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and metabolic conditions.
  • Providing one-on-one exercise consultations and group exercise sessions to clients, focusing on improving strength, flexibility, cardiovascular fitness, and overall functional capacity.
  • Collaborating with other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care and a holistic approach to treatment.
  • Engaging in ongoing professional development and staying abreast of best practices in the field of exercise physiology.
  • Contributing to the growth and success of our Beerwah clinic through active participation in community outreach and networking activities.
  • Running Diabetes's education group classes.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Full accreditation as an Exercise Physiologist with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA).
  • Experience working as an Exercise Physiologist, preferably in a clinical or community setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
  • Clinical pilates experience strongly desirable
