You will be working as part of an experienced team, interacting with patients and staff to facilitate a seamless patient journey from the moment they walk in until their care is complete.

Key Responsibilities:


• Welcome patients and visitors with a professional and friendly attitude.


• Manage appointments, patient registration, and scheduling with accuracy.


• Handle phone calls, enquiries, and appointment confirmations.


• Process Medicare, private health, and other billing procedures.


• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.


• Assist in maintaining a smooth patient journey and a well-organised reception area.


• Support administrative and clinical teams as required.

What We're Looking For:


• Previous experience as a medical receptionist (preferred but not essential )


• Proficiency in medical software systems


• Experience with Best Practice medical software is required.


• Strong organisational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Attention to detail.


• Multitasking: the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple responsibilities.


• Professionalism: A patient-first attitude with a commitment to confidentiality and excellent customer service.


• Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to various duties, including occasional reception coverage during busy periods.


• Knowledge of Medicare billing and healthcare protocols is a bonus.


• A positive, patient-first attitude and a commitment to confidentiality.


• A team player to share opening and/or closing shifts.


• Availability to work morning (Opening) shifts and evening (Closing) shifts is required.


• Australian work authorisation is required for this position.
