**Medical Receptionist**

**Full Time,Part Time or Casual available - Immediate Start**

**About the practice**:
We are a group of 4 medical centres that are comprised of a strong team of well qualified GPs, Nurses and Admin team who strive to provide a high quality of primary health care. We are looking for a dedicated person to be part of our team to support general practice by providing exceptional services to our patients.

**Duties may include but are not limited to**:

- Greeting patients and visitors
- Answering telephone calls and enquires
- Booking, scheduling and follow up appointments
- Maintaining a clean reception and waiting area
- Processing Medicare Billings and Mixed Billing Payments
- Day-to-day banking maintaining practice financial records and reconciling
- Maintaining information confidentiality at all times
- Maintains operations by following policies and procedures, reporting needed changes
- Monitoring and ordering stationery and toiletries to maintain a working supply at all times
- End of Month duties

**The successful applicant will**:

- Have knowledge of **Best Practice Software** is preferred
- Experience in a General Practice setting is preferred
- Evidence of current COVID-19 vaccination
- Undergoing any mandatory training as set out by employer
- Have full working rights in Australia
- CPR Certificate is essential
- if you do not have this, you can obtain
- National Valid Police Clearance is required - if you do not have this, you can obtain

- Reliable, Punctual & Independent but able to work autonomously

- Work under pressure and priorities work load
- Able to multi-task
- Have own reliable transport

**Salary**:Discussed at time of interview - which is then reviewed after the 6 months probationary period.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: From $22.00 per hour

- Canning Vale, WA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Medical admin: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
