Details for Seek
Location: Sydney
Full-time

About the Role
You will play a key part in ensuring that all HR and WHS processes run smoothly and effectively, creating a great work environment for everyone.
This role offers you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our recruitment, onboarding, and employee retention efforts. You will support employee engagement, development, safety and well-being, ensuring compliance with employment laws and best practice.
While the role focuses on business-as-usual activities, you will also be involved in continuous improvement initiatives that support our strategies.
You'll combine structure with compassion and compliance with genuine connection, making a positive difference every single day. You'll be part of a small, collaborative team that supports the organisation, so that everyone contributes positively to the goals, health and safety of people with disability.
The position is ideally full-time; however, we are open to a part-time 0.8 FTE depending on your preference.
About UsAt Supporting Independent Living Co-operative (SILC), we believe that people with disability, along with their families, are in the best position to make decisions about where they live, with whom they live, and who supports them. We believe that great outcomes are achieved when families are actively involved in the person's life.
SILC is a cooperative and a NDIS registered provider. We assist families in setting up a cooperative to run a family-governed home for their family member. Our experience is that people with disabilities who have a network of informal supports (family and friends) and who have the desire and belief that self-direction will provide the choice and control they seek are best placed to succeed in this model.
