Position description:

  • Electrical project engineering background, preferably in the mining industry.
  • Engage internal stakeholders and external contractors to oversee mine site electrical projects actively.
  • Review and prepare tender documents for electrical engineering design, procurement and installation projects.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external contractors to complete new electrical projects.
  • Monitor project schedule and cost to ensure the project is delivered within the timeline and budget.
  • Organize project interfacing meetings to address issues and variations throughout the project.

Attributes and Skills:

Excellent communication skills, teamwork attitude and a proactive approach to addressing issues.

Have previous project management and coordination experience.

KEY INDIVIDUAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Electrical Engineering Qualification.
  • minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Prefer candidates who can speak Mandarin
  • Class "C" Driver's License (WA)
  • Ability to communicate efficiently as part of an integrated project team, involving stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge and experience in Australian standards relevant to the discipline.
