'Susuru Ramen and Gyoza Bar' recently renew as a 'Susuru Izakaya.' Izakayas are a huge part of Japanese culture, casual bars where people come to unwind after work and enjoy great food and drinks.

We have our own factory to make Japanese dumplings, which we call 'Gyoza', and also make ramen broth.

Our workers are very friendly and have a great work environment to learn different skills and knowledge of customer service.

The staff who work at the restaurant are Australian and Japanese, which will be a great experience to work with and learn lots of different cultures.

We are seeking senior casual wait staff who can start working immediately.

We require professionally minded staff to join our team.

Successful candidates will be able to work flexibly within our roster, which includes weekends and public holidays.

The ideal candidates for seeking positions.

  • Have at least 1 year experience in a similar role (Restaurant Customer service skill required)
  • Confident to work in a busy restaurant
  • Flexibility hours a week, including weekend and split shifts)
  • Have knowledge of customer service and cleaning procedures.
  • Interest in Japanese culture
  • RSA required (Over 18 years old)
  • Be able to work around Christmas and New Year's.

Remuneration is based on award levels and is negotiable based on experience and performance.
