About the Role

Join the Delivery Unit team within the Delivery and Assurance Branch as our Associate.

As an Associate, you will contribute to delivering the Government's strategic priorities by supporting key projects, service delivery reforms, and major initiatives. This role plays a vital part in keeping our work on track - coordinating and analysing critical data, supporting robust reporting and briefing processes, and helping ensure high-quality updates reach the Premier and Cabinet. You'll assist in developing and maintaining project plans and contribute to preparing briefs and Cabinet submissions.

You'll work closely with public sector agencies, internal and external stakeholders, building strong relationships and supporting transparent, consistent reporting. To thrive in this role, you'll bring strong organisational skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and a proactive, solution-focused mindset.

About the Team

We're a collaborative team who enjoys working on challenging government priorities. We work closely with other agencies to help monitor, report and resolve issues to ensure government commitments are implemented effectively and in a timely manner.

We're Looking For

  • Policy and Project Delivery: Experience contributing to service delivery reforms or strategic initiatives aligned with government priorities
  • Research and Analysis: Strong skills in data analysis and research to support evidence-based decision making and reporting
  • Project Management: Ability to develop, monitor and report on project plans, milestones, and deliverables within dynamic environments
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparing briefs, reports, and ministerial correspondence
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to build and maintain productive relationships across agencies and stakeholders to facilitate delivery
  • Teamwork: Collaborative approach with a willingness to support continuous business improvement and knowledge sharing
