Nurse Unit Manager Role

As a key leader in the organisation, you will play a crucial role in achieving our vision of providing exceptional care and promoting healthier lives.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, directing and coordinating patient or client care, ensuring the practice of nursing is safe and efficient.

This includes maintaining standards of care through continual quality improvement initiatives and leading and coordinating the nursing and multidisciplinary care team at the ward or unit level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and direct patient or client care
  • Maintain high standards of care through quality improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate the nursing and multidisciplinary care team at the ward or unit level
Requirements:
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the relevant professional body
  • Relevant management tertiary qualification or equivalent work experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in healthcare service delivery and management
  • Proven ability to innovate and improve clinical service delivery and outcomes
