Are you an experienced leader? Join the Haemodialysis Unit in the Southern Adelaide Local Health NetworkReporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, the role of the Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) involves providing assistance in ward and service responsibilities, offering leadership and support, and maintaining cooperative relationships within the healthcare team.
About the role: As the ANUM, duties will include: Ensuring effective management of human, financial, and physical assets through planning and resource allocation to meet strategic goals.
Preparing, monitoring, and reporting on budgets, ensuring adherence to resource allocations.
Supporting the Nurse Unit Manager in management, clinical, and educational activities.
Monitoring patient care plans to achieve appropriate outcomes daily.
Providing proficient, person-centered clinical nursing care and individual case management.
Acting as a resource within the clinical area based on knowledge and experience.
About you: Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding or eligible for a current practicing certificate.
Experience in leading and directing student nurses, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses.
Recent experience in an acute care hospital setting within a haemodialysis unit.
Proven experience in delivering high-quality, safe care aligned with the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.
