You'll take charge of a talented team of over 20 Electrical Engineers, shaping technical direction, mentoring future leaders, and driving delivery across a diverse portfolio of complex, high-profile building projects. This is a role for a people-focused leader who thrives on influence, accountability and performance across projects, people, and clients.

The Opportunity

As
Electrical Team Lead – Building Services
, you will:

  • Lead and develop a team of 20+ Electrical Engineers delivering projects across
    commercial, healthcare, education, residential, and mission critical sectors
    .
  • Champion
    technical excellence
    across lighting, power, communications, security, and backup power systems.
  • Take ownership of
    project delivery and performance
    , ensuring outcomes meet the highest standards of quality and sustainability.
  • Collaborate across disciplines such as mechanical, hydraulic, fire, ESD, civil and structural to deliver fully integrated, future-ready designs.
  • Guide and mentor engineers at all levels, fostering growth, accountability, and pride in performance.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors, positioning the team as a partner of choice.
  • Contribute strategically to the ongoing evolution and growth of the Melbourne business during an exciting period of new beginnings.

Who You Are

  • 10+ years' experience in
    electrical building services design
    , with a proven record leading projects and teams.
  • Deep technical knowledge across
    power, lighting, communications, and critical systems
    .
  • Experienced in delivering large-scale projects across sectors such as
    healthcare, education, commercial, data centres, or residential
    .
  • A confident and empathetic
    people leader
    , passionate about mentoring and developing others.
  • Commercially aware, client-focused, and known for your ability to create lasting partnerships.
  • Degree-qualified and
    registered (or eligible for registration) as a Professional Engineer in Victoria
    .
