Roadworx is seeking Mechanical Engineering Technicians to work on diverse projects across NSW in an onsite capacity.

$70-$80K base + super.

Full-time.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out maintenance repairs and modifications on machinery and equipment.
  • Perform regular tests, inspections and maintenance of equipment and machinery and collect test data for analysis.
  • Prepare mechanical diagnostic reports; provide feedback to relevant work units.
  • Co-ordinate and supervise the inspection and maintenance of machinery being carried out by external contractors.
  • Install, replace, or repair major equipment components, mechanical assemblies and hydraulic control systems.
  • Maintain and update records of work performed on machinery and equipment.
  • Interpret technical drawings and identify appropriate tooling and techniques to implement modifications or repairs.
  • Maintain high standards of practice and adherence to Quality Assurance and safety management.
  • Order and collect mechanical parts, equipment and tools.
  • Train other staff members on correct operating procedures for equipment.
  • Onsite callout and breakdown problem solving, troubleshooting and repairs.

Requirements

  • Relevant qualification in technical Engineering (desirable).
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in the similar role.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and diagrams.
  • Experience in troubleshooting hydraulic systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
