Role Description/Criteria

Corpus Christi Primary School is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Administration Officer to join our team in Term This is a key operational role, vital to the efficient and smooth day to day running of our school. We are looking for someone who is highly organised, professional, and brings a warm, welcoming presence to our community.

The position reports directly to the Principal. FTE will be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and manage school systems, including ICON and nForma.
  • Manage daily student attendance.
  • Manage enrolments from enquiry through to confirmation.
  • Assist in maintaining the VIT and WWCC register.
  • Provide general administrative support and other office duties as directed by the Principal.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Ability to warmly welcome and support students, families, staff, and visitors.
  • Demonstrated experience in school administration (essential).
  • Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple demands effectively.
  • High proficiency in Google Suite for Education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including professional telephone manner and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capacity to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Commitment to the ethos, values, and mission of Catholic education.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in school or office administration (essential).
  • Current First Aid Certificate.
  • Current Working With Children Check.
  • Willingness to comply with Child Safety standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Appointment subject to a satisfactory National Police Record Check.
