CLS is seeking a part-time, motivated and service-oriented On-call Roster Coordinator to join our team. This is a fast-paced role, and your job is to ensure that the right people are at the right place at the right time. If you are a confident and resilient problem solver, who greets the daily challenges of rostering with good humour, then we want you to join our fun and friendly team.
This position will be providing on-call rostering and administrative support to our Service Delivery and Human Resource teams. You will be responsible for the allocation of our most critical resource, our people, ensuring our clients have appropriate staffing to fulfil CLS' client support requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide after-hours support, coordinate rosters, and manage on-call shifts replacements for our staff working in Community, Skills Campus and Supported Independent Living Arrangements.
- Attend to incoming calls in a warm, professional, and timely manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist the HR Team to schedule staff training and other appropriate administrative tasks.
- Liaise with the On-Call Service Delivery Manager to resolve complex-rostering issues.
- Other duties that are consistent with the position where required and/or requested by CLS Management from time to time.
Position Requirements:
This part-time position operates on a fortnightly rotating roster (week on/week off rotation), working from home.
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday – 5pm to 8pm administrative hours, on-call period from 8pm to 6am.
- Wednesday – 5pm to 9pm administrative hours, on-call period from 9pm-6am.
- Saturday & Sunday – 6am to 2pm, on-call period from 2pm to 6am.
NB, Public Holiday on-call work will be required when it falls on your working week.
Any work performed during the on-call period will be subject to "Remote Work" provisions under the SCHADS Award 2010.
Mandatory Knowledge and Experience:
- Previous rostering experience and/or a strong admin background.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
- Have a strong ability to manage the competing demands of a busy environment, prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines.
- Have demonstrated attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
- Ability to work well in a team environment, and autonomously.
- Have a positive, empathetic, helpful approach, and be solutions focused.
- Demonstrate confidentiality and awareness of diversity and sensitive issues.
- Possess great customer care skills and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
