About the Role

Blooms The Chemist Ballarat North is seeking a passionate and reliable Pharmacist to join our team for a full-time maternity leave contract (9–12 months). This role offers a consistent weekday schedule with no weekend work – perfect for maintaining a great work-life balance.

The position includes either an opening shift (9:00am – 5:00pm) or a closing shift (ending at 6:30pm), with flexibility depending on your preference.

You'll be working alongside a friendly and supportive team, including another pharmacist, an intern pharmacist, and two experienced pharmacy technicians. Whether you're an early career pharmacist or newly registered, we welcome your application.

Vaccination accreditation is preferred but not essential.

No methadone services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dispense and supervise dispensing of prescriptions
  • Conduct final checks on prescriptions prepared by technicians
  • Provide professional counselling on safe and effective use of medications
  • Assist in managing dispensary inventory and stock orders
  • Maintain professional standards and compliance

About You

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
