The key duties of the position include:
The Role
You will be accountable for implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legislative and policy requirements to manage usage of overseas supplied technologies and services by IWNSPO and its customers. This will involve the application, development, and communication of advice on relevant legislative and policy frameworks, government decision-making and policy requirements on Export Controls, exercising both initiative and judgement in the interpretation of relevant policies and in the application of endorsed practices and procedures. You will engage independently and as part of an integrated team member in liaising and supporting IWNSPO project and product managers and other customer stakeholders in the management and resolution of complex issues. This will involve identifying, anticipating and responding to stakeholders' needs and expectations to achieve work unit and Defence outcomes.
About our Team
The Integrated Warfighting Networks Systems Program Office (IWNSPO) is responsible for the acquisition, integration and sustainment of command, and control warfare systems for the Australian Defence Force across the country and in operational theatres overseas. These capabilities include computer applications that support planning and conduct of operations, including IT infrastructure and command and control systems for deployed military forces across the five Domains. IWNSPO acquires and sustains joint-information warfare capabilities that are mission critical to all three services of the Australian Defence Force.

- Build and maintain working relationships through effective relationship management, including engaging with stakeholders to manage expectations and concerns; and
- Demonstrate integrity, curiosity, resilience, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work effectively and independently within an integrated team.
Security Clearance:
Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at "Negative Vetting Level 1".
