About the role

Join our dynamic team at BAKO PLUMBING PTY LTD as a Plumbing leading hand. In this full-time role based in Ipswich QLD 4305, you will play a key part in overseeing and directing a team of plumbers to deliver high-quality plumbing services to our valued clients.

What you'll be doing

  1. Lead and supervise a team of plumbers to complete a variety of plumbing installations and maintenance tasks
  2. Ensure work is completed to a high standard, on time and within budget
  3. Allocate tasks and resources to team members, and provide guidance and support as needed
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise on job sites
  5. Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice
  6. Assist in the planning and coordination of projects
  7. Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years' experience as a qualified plumber, with proven leadership and supervisory skills
  2. Strong technical knowledge of plumbing systems, including installation, maintenance and repair
  3. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  4. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with clients and coordinate a team
  5. Commitment to safety and a strong attention to detail
  6. Relevant plumbing qualifications and licenses
