Traffic Operations Support Officer

Council is seeking to appoint a permanent full time Traffic Operations Support Officer to contribute to Council's success.

  • Permanent Full Time, 9-day fortnight
  • Located at Gladstone Depot
  • Better Balance, Better Benefits with GRC

About the Role

The purpose of this position is to facilitate the timely delivery of traffic management to support the scheduled and reactive works.

You will bring:

  1. Traffic Management Implementation (TMI) qualifications or the ability to obtain.
  2. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  3. Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written English) skills and experience liaising with a broad range of stakeholders, management and employees.
  4. Demonstrated knowledge in time management, prioritisation and planning skills in order to effectively complete tasks within required timeframes.
  5. Effective collaboration and resolution skills to effectively problem-solve prior to escalating to management for resolution.
  6. Proficient keyboard skills and experience using Microsoft Office Suite and operating corporate business systems.
  7. Legally able to drive a motor vehicle in Queensland.
