About the Role

An F&I Business Manager works with customers after they have chosen a vehicle, helping them arrange finance, insurance, and protection products that suit their needs. They are responsible for ensuring the dealership complies with legal, ethical, and financial regulations while maximizing profitability.

  • Present and explain different financing options (loan terms, lease options, interest rates, etc.).
  • Work with banks, finance companies, and lenders to secure competitive approvals.

  • Tailor solutions to meet the customer's budget and lifestyle.

  • Offer insurance products such as comprehensive car insurance, gap insurance, extended warranties, and loan protection.

  • Clearly explain coverage benefits, exclusions, and costs so customers can make informed decisions.

  • Ensure all contracts and financial agreements are completed accurately and legally.

  • Stay up to date with finance/insurance legislation, consumer credit laws, and responsible lending obligations.

We're after someone who:
  • Has proven F&I success in a dealership environment (minimum 3 year's experience)
  • Has ambition to grow, learn, and be one of the best in the business
  • Knows how to double close and add value to every deal
  • Can think outside the box to find the best outcomes for clients
  • Is detail-oriented, fast-moving, and analytical
  • Can handle high lead volume and quick approval turnarounds
  • Holds current F&I accreditations or is ready to obtain them
  • Works well in a team and be supportive to the sales team
