About the role

Pathhaven Disability Care is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our disability care services in East Maitland, NSW. As our Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our services, with a focus on delivering high-quality care to our clients. This full-time role is integral to the success of our organisation, and you will play a key part in our continued growth and development.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage and oversee all operational aspects of our disability care services, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and service quality
  • Liaise with clients, their families, and other stakeholders to address any concerns or issues
  • Lead and motivate a team of dedicated care professionals, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and decision-making processes of the organisation
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators to measure the success of our operations

What we're looking for

  • Significant experience (3+ years) in a similar operations management role within the disability care or healthcare industry
  • Strong understanding of the regulatory framework and best practices in the disability care sector
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, families, and team members
  • Proven track record of leading and motivating high-performing teams
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically
  • Proficient in the use of relevant software and technology to support operations
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as healthcare management or social work, is highly desirable
