We are seeking a talented and driven individual to join our dynamic Technology Operations team. As a team member, you will play a pivotal role in working with our business and helping to support and provide engineering services to the digital platform.  You will work alongside a group of passionate professionals who are dedicated to delivering innovative solutions that exceed customer expectations. 

Your team is part of the Technology division, a team that are truly collaborative and passionate, and work closely together to deliver outcomes that positively transform the way our customers use our services.  

About the Opportunity 

As a Collaboration Specialist at VicRoads, you will play a pivotal role in empowering employees to work smarter and more effectively through the adoption and optimisation of collaboration platforms. This position is central to ensuring that our digital collaboration tools are reliable, secure, and continuously improved to meet evolving business needs and enhance the employee experience.

You will act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, partnering with business units to uplift digital literacy, drive productivity, and enable seamless workflows. The role also includes supporting the adoption of new features—such as AI—to enhance productivity and employee experience. From governance and training to integration and automation, you'll help shape how VicRoads collaborates in a modern, connected environment.

About you 

You're a skilled Collaboration Specialist with a strong background in digital collaboration technologies and a passion for enabling people to work smarter. You bring hands-on expertise in Microsoft 365 and related platforms, and thrive in environments that value innovation, governance, and continuous improvement.

You'll thrive in this role if you:

• Have 3–5 years' experience in delivering and supporting collaboration technologies.

• Possess strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, and emerging AI-powered tools (e.g., Copilot, Rovo).

• Have experience supporting Atlassian and other SaaS tools (e.g., DocuSign, Miro, Figma).

• Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with stakeholders.

• Are proactive in identifying opportunities to improve collaboration, productivity, and user experience.

• Enjoy partnering with business units to uplift digital literacy and drive adoption of new features.

Desirable:

• Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow) and Agile ways of working.

• Exposure to Human-Centred Design (HCD) or Service Design practices to inform solutions and improve employee experience.

• Relevant certifications in Microsoft 365 or Atlassian products.
