The Investment Specialist is responsible for supporting the Senior Investment Specialist in delivering high-quality, general investment solutions and advice to clients assigned.

This role involves conducting detailed investment analysis, assisting in the development of investment strategies, and providing insights to enhance portfolio performance.

The Investment Specialist is expected to be a proactive and detail-oriented professional and play a crucial role in ensuring that the allocated wholesale clients receive tailored investment solutions.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of wholesale investment clients who do not seek personal financial advice.

  • Assist in the presentation and marketing of investment strategies and financial products that align with client objectives and market conditions.

  • Collaborate with the Senior Investment Specialist to prepare investment reports, presentations, and recommendations for clients.

  • Monitor and evaluate portfolio performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.

  • Stay informed about market trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes to provide clients with up-to-date advice.

  • Support the Senior Investment Specialist and directly meet with clients, speak at presentations, and provide technical expertise and insights.

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies in the delivery of investment advice.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of investment processes and strategies.

Education / Qualifications / Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, or a related discipline.

  • RG146 plus Experience in investment analysis or a similar role within financial services.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and independently when required.

  • Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and delivering exceptional client service.
