Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Financial Control, this position supports the Corporate and Financial Control department by providing key financial accounting services. The role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of monthly financial reporting, including the preparation of financial reports, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Financial Control and Financial System Support - including but not limited to managing the month-end close process; assisting in preparing performance reports, preparing reconciliations, audit preparation and system improvements
- Management Reporting - including but not limited to business planning processes, reporting preparation (management, statutory or group tax) to support internal decision making
- Compliance & Risk Management - ensuring compliance with internal controls, policies and regulatory requirements; and contributing to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures; risk identification and mitigation
- Audit Support - Coordinating external audit review - preparing schedules and documentation; address audit findings and implementing corrective action
Desired Skills And Experience
To be successful in this role you will:
Skills
Comprehensive hands-on experienced in the financial account discipline - preferably within the property or infrastructure industry
- Proficient in finance systems including Oracle ERP (JDE), SAP ERP, NetSuite
- Ability to produce financial reports, analysis and interpret data effectively
Strong tax knowledge and ability to manage in-house compliance requirements
Competencies
Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proactively manage the status quo and driving process change
Committed to delivering high-quality results and striving for excellence
Experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or related field
- CA or CPO
- Minimum of 5-years plus relevant work experience in financial accounting, management accounting - with demonstrated record of success - preferably in property or infrastructure industry
