About the Role

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain and or repair electrical systems and equipment in the residential, commercial and light industrial sectors working either as part of a team or independently
  • Interpret and work from electrical plans, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
  • Conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations
  • Diagnose electrical faults and carry out effective, timely repairs
  • Ensure all work is completed to Australian electrical standards and company quality requirements
  • Collaborate with other trades and team members to ensure smooth project delivery and enhance project efficiency and excellence
  • Utilizing job management software to log work, maintaining accurate records of work performed, materials used and time spent on tasks.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe / clean work environment
  • Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner at all times
  • Stay up to date with industry developments, products, and best practices

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a qualified electrician with a minimum of 5-10 years experience. You need to hold a current South Australian Electrical License and have a current Australian Work Visa/Residency/Citizenship. You will also need the following:

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Experience working in both commercial and domestic environments
  • White Card (OHS Construction Card)
  • EWP (Yellow Card) – preferred but not mandatory
  • Police Clearance
  • Working with Children Check
  • Solar experience and or working towards accreditation (desirable)
