About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and creative Senior Florist to join the team at Mary k floral design in Maroubra, NSW. As a full-time Senior Florist, you will be responsible for designing and creating stunning floral arrangements and installations for a variety of clients and events.
What you'll be doing
- Designing and crafting unique floral arrangements and centrepieces for weddings, events, and corporate clients
- Overseeing the daily operations of the floral studio, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and supervising junior florists
- Providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with clients to understand their vision and bring it to life
- Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in the floristry industry
- Maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail in all floral designs
What we're looking for
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Senior Florist or similar role in the floral industry
- Excellent floral design skills and a strong portfolio of past work
- A keen eye for colour, texture, and composition
- Proficiency in working with a variety of floral materials and techniques
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- A passion for the art of floristry and a commitment to delivering exceptional results
