About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and creative Senior Florist to join the team at Mary k floral design in Maroubra, NSW. As a full-time Senior Florist, you will be responsible for designing and creating stunning floral arrangements and installations for a variety of clients and events.

What you'll be doing

  • Designing and crafting unique floral arrangements and centrepieces for weddings, events, and corporate clients
  • Overseeing the daily operations of the floral studio, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and supervising junior florists
  • Providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with clients to understand their vision and bring it to life
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in the floristry industry
  • Maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail in all floral designs

What we're looking for

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Senior Florist or similar role in the floral industry
  • Excellent floral design skills and a strong portfolio of past work
  • A keen eye for colour, texture, and composition
  • Proficiency in working with a variety of floral materials and techniques
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • A passion for the art of floristry and a commitment to delivering exceptional results
