Senior Mechanical Engineer – Rosehill, NSW 

Reports to: Senior Manager, Process Design & Technology

As a Senior Research Engineer, you'll take ownership of cutting-edge design and process projects, helping us create next-generation technologies and deliver sustainable growth. What You'll Do

  • Lead design technology projects from concept through to commissioning.
  • Innovate and improve manufacturing processes to unlock new efficiencies.
  • Translate research insights into practical, scalable engineering solutions.
  • Build and test prototypes, making real-time decisions during trials.
  • Collaborate closely with manufacturing teams, suppliers, and partners.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior R&D leadership.
  • Mentor junior engineers and scientists, sharing your expertise.
  • Ensure compliance with Work Health & Safety requirements at all times.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
  • 7+ years' experience in design and engineering, preferably in R&D.
  • Strong skills in mechanical design, problem-solving, and process improvement.
  • Hands-on experience with commissioning, installation, and manufacturing projects.
  • Proficiency with Autodesk CAD tools (Inventor preferred); Minitab a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
