We're seeking a passionate and qualified Early Childhood Kindergarten Teacher to join one of our Toowoomba Education and Care Centre and help shape the next generation through play-based learning, relationships, and curiosity-driven exploration.

About the Role

As a Kindergarten Teacher with KDFC, you'll design and deliver inclusive, high-quality early childhood programs inspired by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG).

You'll be part of a supportive team that values teamwork, trust, and continuous improvement — where your ideas and passion are genuinely encouraged.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and implementing an engaging, inclusive educational program.
  • Documenting children's learning journeys using our digital platform (OWNA).
  • Nurturing trusting relationships with children, families, and the community.
  • Mentoring and collaborating with fellow educators to achieve excellence.
  • Upholding the philosophy, values, and vision of KDFC in daily practice.

What You'll Bring
  • Approved Early Childhood Teacher qualification (or actively working towards).
  • Current First Aid (HLTAID012), CPR, and Blue Card (Working with Children).
  • Knowledge of the Early Childhood Education and Care National Quality Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Guidelines.
  • A deep commitment to child safety, inclusion, and professional learning.
  • A caring, trustworthy, and collaborative approach that aligns with KDFC's values.
