Wodonga Golf Club is looking for a motivated and experienced Golf Course Green keeper and Assistant Superintendent to join our dynamic team. As a full-time role based in Wodonga, VIC 3690.

Senior Green keeper, Assistant Superintendent – Full Time

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Green keeper and Assistant Superintendent to support the day-to-day operations of our course maintenance program. This senior role involves assisting with staff supervision, implementing scheduled works, and supporting projects as directed by the course manager.

This is a full-time position ideally suited to a qualified turf professional looking to step up into a management role.

Key Requirements

The successful candidate will ideally possess:

  • Certificate III in Sports Turf Management (or equivalent qualification)
  • Current ChemCert accreditation for chemical application
  • Strong competency with specialized golf course machinery
  • Experience in irrigation systems and repairs
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to improvement
  • The ability to follow direction while also working independently
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to priorities and multi-task effectively

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Golf Course Green keeper or Assistant Superintendent
  • Strong knowledge of golf course maintenance practices, including turf management, equipment operation, and agronomics
  • Ability to operate and maintain a variety of golf course maintenance equipment
  • Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with the golf course management team
  • Valid driver's licence and ability to work flexible hours, including public holidays
