**About the role**
Reporting to the Logistics Manager, The Supply Superintendent is responsible for the overall performance of supply site based operations. This person will provide leadership to a team focused on inbound/outbound freight and logistics movements, receipt, handling, storage, packaging and timely dispatch of goods.
This role will be a site based role on a 5/2 4/3 roster.
- Develop and align workplace systems and processes to increase productivity and safety. Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
- Maintain respectful, effective, cohesive and reciprocal working relationships with all stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure required targets and results are achieved.
- Assist the Logistics Manager in the planning, management and optimisation of warehousing, supply and logistics operations
- Engage in the planning, design and construction of new facilities and the upgrade of existing ensuring maximum space and resources utilisation
- Plan and execute the mobilisation and demobilisation for supply & logistics components of MRL projects
- Oversee compliance for required warehouse and logistics KPI areas (cycle counting, maintenance schedule parts, inventory management and safety performance)
- Produce reports and statistics regularly, monitoring outputs and striving to improve
- Utilise data analysis to drive service and cost savings through KPI’s and various metrics
- Assist with budget allocation and CAPEX requests.
**What you’ll bring to the team**
- Extensive experience in a Supply Leadership position
- Diploma in Warehousing and logistics desirable
- Knowledge of ERP systems and transport booking software
- Proven experience of Warehouse and Logistics functions in a distribution centre setting or mining environment
- Experience working with CoR and road legislation in relation to road transport
