Job Summary
The Implementation Lead is responsible for driving HUBconnect client implementations, overseeing the end-to-end delivery of the HUBconnect product suite. This includes developing clear implementation plans and leading a high-performing customer enablement team to deliver fast, first-class service across multiple concurrent projects. The role works closely with technology delivery teams and both current and prospective users, ensuring seamless integration of HUBconnect products within HUB24's broader technology offering.
Responsibilities
Implementation & Delivery
- Lead end-to-end client implementations for the HUBconnect product suite using a hybrid Agile/Waterfall approach.
- Plan and execute multiple concurrent projects, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.
- Facilitate workshops and onboarding sessions for customers and partners.
- Remove delivery impediments and guide teams towards effective problem-solving.
Team Leadership & Enablement
- Manage and mentor Implementation Specialists within the Customer Enablement Team.
- Foster a collaborative, outcomes-focused team culture.
- Forecast resource demands and proactively manage risks and dependencies.
Stakeholder & Partner Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams (Product, Technology, Sales) and external stakeholders (advisers, licensees, third-party vendors).
- Act as a key liaison between partners and internal product teams, advocating for user needs in roadmap planning.
- Promote HUBconnect's features and value proposition to drive adoption and partner engagement.
Training & Support
- Deliver online and in-person training to partners and customers.
- Develop, maintain, and refine training materials, including documentation, videos, and self-service support tools.
- Support ongoing user engagement and confidence in the HUBconnect platform.
Operational Excellence
- Track and report on project status, progress, and risks to stakeholders.
- Contribute to Group Technology initiatives, release management, and compliance.
- Support preparation for R&D tax incentive claims and complete regular timesheet entries.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading large-scale software implementations using hybrid project management models.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in implementation/project management within a software development context.
- Strong working knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Ability to facilitate scrum ceremonies, project workshops, and planning sessions.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong business acumen and problem-solving mindset.
- Experience in resource planning and managing multiple teams or workstreams.
- Customer-centric approach with a focus on outcomes and adoption.
- Ability to build trust, influence outcomes, and articulate complex ideas clearly.
- Background in financial services, financial markets, or platform technology.
- Understanding of financial advisers, licensees, or wealth management ecosystems.
- Experience contributing to the development of training and support programs.
- General understanding of R&D tax incentives and compliance in a tech environment.
