About the role

Chinderah Smash Repairs is seeking a talented and experienced Panel Beater to join our team. This full-time role is based in our Chinderah, NSW workshop and will involve repairing and restoring vehicles to the highest standard.

What you'll be doing

  • Assessing and evaluating vehicle damage to determine the required repairs
  • Expertly repairing and restoring all types of vehicle panels and body parts
  • Performing metal straightening, welding, and fabrication work as needed
  • Applying filler, sanding, and preparing surfaces for painting
  • Working closely with the paint team to ensure a high-quality finish
  • Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
  • Ensuring all work meets industry standards and safety regulations

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified Panel Beater
  • Strong technical skills in vehicle panel repair and restoration
  • Proficient in the use of panel beating tools and equipment
  • Good eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a positive and collaborative attitude
