Dr Krista and Dr Brett here.

A  few years ago, we did a thing.

We bought into a practice, Broadbeach Family Practice.

But It's not just any practice.

It's the practice we learned to become doctors in, shaped and grew into something that we are extremely proud of, that serves our patients and the community.

And then something else happened. We wanted to do more, be more, help more.

So we started another practice, Mermaid Family Practice.

And there WILL be more where those two came from, because we have a clear vision of changing the face of general practice.

We want to break the mould on how things have always been done and create something extraordinary and do it across multiple practices so that as many people as possible can have access to exceptional standards of care.

So we need some help.

We need a nurse that wants to look after our patients.. naturally..

But we don't need just any nurse

We need a unicorn.

Someone who is driven by growth, who knows without focused effort, inertia always wins.

Someone who turns up every day, ready to give everything to the patients they look after.

Someone who knows the value of having a nurse as part of the multidisciplinary team and is dedicated to adding value to all of our patients.

Someone who can work well with all our other nurses.. teamwork makes the dream work right?

We are looking for a nurse with  some GP experience that can join our team

Someone that enjoys preventative care, encourages patients to participate and take charge of their own health and loves identifying what patients are missing out on.

You know your stuff when it comes to the treatment room and wound management but you thrive on the thrill of getting to know patients a little deeper through GP management plans, health assessments and recalls.
