About the role

Permanent full time opportunity to provide high level dental assisting to eligible patients of the School Dental Service (SDS) in Metro North Oral Health Services.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Provide chairside assistance to Dentists, Dental Specialists, Dental Prosthetists, Dental and Oral Health Therapists, and Dental Students in oral health procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain operations of SDS fixed facilities and dental vans including preventative maintenance, repairs, audits and coordination of dental van movements.
  • Maintain the clinical environment in a safe and hygienic state and undertake supportive duties, such as maintenance of instruments and equipment.
