Edward Street Dental are recruiting a Junior Dental Assistant for a part time position (4 days a week) to add to our existing friendly, highly skilled dental team. You'll work in our established practice with a team who genuinely love what they do There is no need to have any experience at all as we will train you along the way. We are also open to offering a Traineeship for the right candidate

Qualifications & experience

  • *A passion for the dental industry and patient care

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional patient care and assist Dentists and Hygienists
  • Maintaining infection control and sterilisation standards;
  • Recording treatment info in patient records; maintaining patient confidentiality;
  • Providing post-operative instructions as directed by the dentist;
  • Play a pro-active role in each day's appointment schedule and patient activities to ensure things run as seamless as possible;
  • Be an advocate for positive and pro-active dental care;
  • Chairside dental assisting;
  • Sound computer skills; use of dental software systems.
