The Opportunity (Immediate Start Available):

We are seeking an experienced butcher who takes pride in their craft and enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment. This role involves a combination of butchering and ordering case-ready meat, ensuring our customers receive consistently high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cutting, preparing, and presenting meat products to company and food safety standards
  • Maintaining a clean and hygienic workspace in line with HACCP requirements
  • Monitoring stock levels and placing accurate orders for case-ready meat
  • Ensuring correct product rotation and minimising waste
  • Providing excellent customer service when required
  • Working with attention to detail to maintain quality and consistency across all tasks
Ideally, the Successful Applicant will have:
  • Previous butchery experience (retail or wholesale)
  • Strong knife skills and knowledge of different cuts of meat
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Good communication skills and a strong work ethic
  • Reliability and the ability to work unsupervised
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in their work
