Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Electrician located in Newcastle or Central Coast, NSW. The Electrician will be responsible for day-to-day tasks including electrical installations, troubleshooting electrical issues, and performing electrical commissioning work. The role also involves collaborating with the team to install electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and providing emergency electrical support as needed. The Electrician will work on various projects across industrial and commercial sectors, maintaining and upgrading electrical systems to ensure operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Cerificate 3 in Electrotechnology (Electrical Supervisors Licence)

Experience in Maintenance & Repair and Troubleshooting

Experience working with Diesel Generators and Fuel Systems -
Highly regarded

Electrical Commissioning experience -
Highly regarded

Data Center or Power Generation experience -
Highly regarded

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and plans

Experience in industrial and commercial sectors.

Familiarity with Australian Standards and safety regulations

Remuneration Package

Hourly Rate: $45 - $55/hr + Super

Overnight Travel allowance: $130/night
