Role Title: ADS T2A Systems Engineer

Role Description:

  • Perform elicitation and development of AIR6500 FPS requirements, support AIR6500 OCD change management and Commonwealth review of related Industry deliverables (eg. FBL)
  • Work with internal/external FPS and FBL stakeholders including system safety, system security, system-of-systems engineering, technical certification teams to ensure that FPS and FBL requirements adequately address FPS stakeholders' needs and constraints.
  • Develop and maintain project engineering artefacts as directed by the Release Team Lead
  • Be proactive in identifying, exploring, and managing risks, issues and opportunities related to FPS requirements including interface-related requirements.

Essential Requirements:

Tertiary qualifications in an engineering field or related technical discipline.

Must have minimum 6+ years post graduate engineering experience.

Strong verbal communications, coupled with strong technical writing skills.

Previous experience working for a Defence project, preferably an ACAT1 project.

Experience with Model-based Systems Engineering Tools

Experience in an Agile development environment will be highly regarded

Required Security Clearance Level: NV1

Location: Canberra

Weekly Hours: 40
