Join our dynamic team supporting cutting-edge Navy capabilities, where your expertise will directly contribute to the design, integration, and delivery of complex maritime systems.

What You'll Do:

  • Engage with stakeholders to capture, refine, and validate functional and non-functional system requirements.
  • Translate requirements into clear, testable specifications, use cases, and workflows.
  • Maintain traceability of requirements throughout the system lifecycle, supporting integration and acceptance testing.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, and testers to ensure alignment and consistency across systems.
  • Assist in engineering planning, risk management, and implementation of control processes for Navy platforms.
  • Prepare engineering documentation, briefs, and cost analyses to support project delivery.

What We're Looking For:

  • Essential: Bachelor of Engineering and proven Systems Engineering experience in Defence project delivery.
  • Essential: Knowledge and hands-on experience with naval platforms.
  • Essential: Familiarity with Navy AD514 Engineering processes.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation skills.
  • Attention to detail and process-oriented mindset.

Desirable:

  • Experience within the Defence maritime environment.
  • Familiarity with Defence Capability Lifecycle Projects and SEA2273.
  • Experience working with Ship Class SPOs and ISSCs.
