Your new role

  • Provide leadership and coordination across all Maintenance Superintendents to ensure consistent execution of planned and unplanned work
  • Act as the escalation point for operational and workforce issues, resolving matters efficiently to minimise downtime and risk
  • Monitor execution of maintenance plans, ensuring adherence to schedules, quality standards, and site requirements
  • Standardise execution practices, ensuring consistency in work quality, reporting, and workforce management across all crews
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, site SHMS, and relevant statutory requirements

What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence, support, and develop Maintenance Superintendents
  • Excellent communicator, able to provide clear direction and act as the link between frontline teams and senior leadership
  • Current Mining Supervisor – G1, G8, G9 (formerly S1, S2, S3)
  • Carry out the Risk Management Process – G2 - RIIRIS402D
  • Current Queensland Coal Board Medical
  • Current Standard 11
