Educational Leader – Work Across Two Centres

Locations: Boronia & Mt Evelyn VIC

Lead, mentor, and elevate practice across two warm, community-focused early learning services.


We are seeking an experienced and passionate Educational Leader to work across our Boronia and Mt Evelyn centres. This is an exciting leadership opportunity to guide quality practices, mentor educators, and shape meaningful outcomes for children, families, and teams.


About the Role

In this dynamic role, you will:

  • Support educators through the full planning cycle, including observations, programming, and documentation
  • Lead the development, implementation, and review of the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP)
  • Work alongside educators on the floor to role model and support best practices
  • Assist with educator recruitment, including interviews and induction processes
  • Help plan team-building activities and coordinate professional development workshops
  • Lead community engagement projectsaligned with our values and learning goals
  • Collaborate with centre leadership to drive continuous improvement across both services

Job Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Diploma in Early Childhood Education with substantial experience in a similar leadership or mentoring role

    OR a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education
  • Minimum 1-2 years of leadership or mentoring experience for candidates with a Diploma in Early Childhood Education
  • A current Working with Children Check
  • A valid National Police Check (or willingness to provide one before starting)
  • ACECQA-approved First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis training
  • Completed Child Protection training (approved by the relevant State authority)
  • Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and curriculum development
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to mentoring, reflective practice, and team growth
  • Current Australian work rights are required for this position
