Accommodation Logistics Support

Location: South Australia

Days Required: Mondays and Thursdays (2 days per week)

Employment Type: Casual

Role Overview:

We're looking for a reliable, hands-on team member to assist with logistics and site upkeep across our accommodation properties in the Barossa, Adelaide Hills, Clare and McLaren Vale regions. This is a position ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a practical skillset, shows initiative and takes pride in supporting smooth site operations. The successful candidate will follow a to do list on each given day.

Key Responsibilities:

Logistics & Deliveries

  • Pick up and deliver linen, stock, hampers, and supplies to and from sites
  • Ensure inventory levels are maintained (firewood, consumables, etc.)

Grounds & Site Support

  • Stack firewood boxes at properties and communal areas
  • Rubbish and recycling bin rotations
  • Conduct light garden tidying (e.g. leaf blowing, lawn mowing, weed pulling/spraying, weeding)
  • Basic pest control
  • Assist with manual tasks and general upkeep of properties
  • External cleans of cabins
  • Perform general maintenance/handyman tasks, i.e. an example could be fixing a blind, smoke alarms etc

Property Checks

  • Perform basic weekly inspection of pods (exteriors, locks, decks)
  • Report any damage, maintenance issues, or unusual findings to the team
  • Monitor tank levels and gas indicators, putting in phone orders for refills as needed

Support Role

  • Assist with preparation for peak weekends (firewood restocking, consumables assistance)

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
  • Physically capable of lifting, carrying, and outdoor work
  • Available Mondays and Thursdays, with potential for extra hours/days
  • Good communicator and team player
  • Comfortable logging task sheets
  • Comfortable using a phone or tablet for checklists and reporting
  • Previous experience in basic maintenance, landscaping or delivery/logistics work is a bonus
  • Afterhours/weekend call out support may be required on occasion
