What you'll be doing
The Senior Physiotherapist will provide advanced practice and clinical leadership to the relevant team, as well as liaising with other specialist teams. The Senior Physiotherapist will apply extensive specialist knowledge in paediatric physiotherapy. This includes expertise in developmental delay, neurological conditions, respiratory management, orthopaedic and post-surgical rehabilitation, and congenital disorders. They will demonstrate advanced clinical reasoning and practical skills to deliver efficient services and implement interventions in complex emergency situations. The Senior Physiotherapist will plan and manage complex cases, liaising with outpatient clinics, community and primary care services to ensure continuity of care and appropriate follow-up. They will collaborate with paediatric medical teams, child development units, and family support services to ensure integrated and holistic care for paediatric patients. The Senior Physiotherapist will also be responsible for the management of the physiotherapy case list.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Must hold qualifications recognised for registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia. Demonstrated current clinical knowledge of Physiotherapy, a high level of contemporary intervention skills, and demonstrated senior expertise in delivery, direction and management of physiotherapy services. Must have experience as a level 2 Physiotherapist.
- Demonstrated experience in leading service development initiatives in paediatric physiotherapy, including quality improvement activities and professional education.
- Demonstrated senior clinical experience in paediatric physiotherapy across acute inpatient and outpatient settings, with a strong commitment to family-centred care and supporting children with complex medical and developmental needs.
