Key details:

  • Position:  Clinical Care Coordinator
  • Role: Full time permanent (76 hours per fortnight)
  • Setting:  Not for Profit Aged care in Central Coast

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide full clinical supervision of the aged care facility, ensuring high-quality care delivery and adherence to best practices
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, including care plans, assessments, and incident reports, in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Conduct training programs, offer ongoing guidance, and mentor care staff to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate closely with the Facility Manager and leadership team to ensure consistent adherence to Aged Care Quality Standards and organizational policies
  • Implement and monitor safe work practices, ensuring all staff comply with Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements to maintain a safe environment for residents and staff

Key Requirements:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in aged care, with proven clinical leadership.
  • Exceptional clinical assessment and planning skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficiency in care management systems and technology.
